ADI Construction removed and replaced the hardscape in Crystal City plaza near Crystal Dr. This project included waterproofing and structural repairs over the underground Crystal City shops. To create a welcome atmosphere to the outdoor space, high end LED mood lighting was installed and recessed into the paving surface. The space required phasing to keep access to the underground shops clear to allow for the shops to remain open during the construction process. Work was performed in the winter, which required tenting and intensive surface water management plans.
