ADI constructed a building standard, multi-tenant elevator lobby in downtown Washington, DC. While other floors of this building contain wood-base with plain sliced maple veneer, ADI and the millworker upgraded to curly maple veneer in line with the furnished millwork panels and doors. For the flooring of this lobby, the specified stone reserve was exhausted. In order to complete the job to our high quality standards, ADI, the stone flooring subcontractor and the architect made numerous visits to the marble warehouse to hand-pick acceptable slabs.
