The Role:

As an Accounting clerk, you will be involved with a variety of accounting principles that include payables, receivables and general ledger applications. Training will be provided. Above average intelligence and problem solving skills will be needed to successfully fulfill the role. As well as a drive to learn and multitask with overhanging deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices and send out delinquent notices
  • Processing Invoices
  • Keep monthly ledger of account activity
  • Generate accounting statements and reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, college level accounting classes or Accounting Degree or 1-3 years hands-on Accounting experience.
  • Basic computer skills and word processing, Good mathematical background, experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a high energy and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team player
